Who Is Lou Simmons

One of the first residents of Amelia Island Plantation, Lou has been a successful Top Producing Florida Real Estate Professional for over 45 years. Lou is passionate about Amelia Island and brings this passion and experience to her business every day. Lou is a member of Amelia Island Nassau County Association of Realtors and has obtained her Brokers License in Real Estate. Much of Lou's client base has come from repeat clients and referrals which serves as a testament to her work ethics and client service.

Fun Facts About Lou

Lou is very active in her community Amelia Island Plantation. She is a part of the Plantation Ladies, belongs to The Amelia Island Club, and is an active member of the Amelia Plantation Chapel. She is an avid gardener and enjoys working in her rose garden at her marsh view home in the Amelia Island Plantation as well as fishing, walking on the beach, cooking and traveling.

Lou has three children, six grandchildren and an 18 year old silky terreri named Pepper. Lou is blessed to have both of her sons; their wives and four grandchildren live on Amelia Island. Her daughter, son-in-law who are both in the real estate business with their two children live in Hilton Head, S.C.  Lou is happiest with a house full with her children, their spouses and all of her grandchildren.
